“Estimation of lead has shown that all brands were found to contain lead and other heavy metals such as copper, nickel, chromium, cobalt and arsenic,” said S S Agarwal, principal DIPSR. The consequence of these heavy metals, in particular lead, is disastrous on children, said Dr Agarwal, adding “It can harm the brain of a child forever.”
